Acupuncture is an effective treatment for a diverse variety of health conditions but don't be fooled by phoenix acupuncturists with bare minimum training. Some doctors claiming to practice acupuncture have only minimal training. Many MDs, DOs, NMDs, Chiropractors, and the like are practicing acupuncture with the bare minimal training. This is not to say all are but you should get some of these details from your acupuncturist before starting treatment. This will ensure you get the best results.

- Typically a detox/auricular acupuncture technician or chiropractor has 100 hrs or less in acupuncture.
- Typically a medical doctor, osteopath, naturopath, or chiropractor has 300 hours or less in acupuncture training.
